Introduction
I saw this "mysterious" aircraft ( small + two engines + tip tanks + twin fins ) crossing the airfield above circuit height at the Airshow Coburg-Brandensteinsebene in August 2004 . I did not recognize it at first, though I know this rare bird since the early sixties and shot the photograph with my Cannon Zoom EF 100-400mm (above left) . After landing it was perfectly clear that I have met a "Morava", with that characteristic face, reminding me of a smart raven out of a comics (picture above right). More pictures of this Let L-200D under the D-GULL link, right.
Having found two very good inflight photos on Austrian Aviation Art website recently, which I´m kindly permitted to use here, inspired me to start this page on the Let L-200 Morava.
