Introduction
Remembering that I had some photos of D-GADA, I opened this page to be able to link to some information on the Aero 145 in the Let 200 page. The Let 200 is described there as the successor of the Aero 145. The "Aero" is a rare bird especially for non European enthuisasts, so opening a page here is justified anyway.
History
The Aero 45 flew for the first time as a ptototype in July 1947. When production of this series of aircraft terminated (ended) in 1961, approximately 700 machines had been delivered of which all but some eighty were exported.
Variants:
Aero 45 ( 105 hp Walter Minor 4-III engines )
Super Aero 45 (refined but similary powered, 130 examples were exported to the Soviet Union)
Aero 145 ( 140 hp Avia LOM [L1] M 332 engines)
All three variants are externally similar.
