Additional Remarks

• I will not provide lists of specification data like performance, weights and dimensions drawn from secondary sources. I refer to and recommend the professional publication Janes All the Worlds Aircraft or respective tables in other publications found in the Reference section.
  
  
• If I quote technical data from secondary sources it will be single values only. That may be the case if it helps to characterizes a specific type of aircraft or to compare it to competitors ( like the fastest, biggest etc..)
  
  
• I will not be as restrictive with data drawn from primary sources like flight manuals and findings from flight test reports - be it performance or handling qualities. Now and then you can even find some data from my own observations or measurements .
  
  
• Information which cannot presented publicly due to copyright restrictions (scanned pictures, whole texts from books and magazines , pictures and text from saved websites) will only be accessible off-line on my harddisk for my own use. You will find links designated offline which will not work for you.
  

There will be no general links page on this site. The lists of links in the Reference section are solely made up of websites I refer to in the text as sources of quotes or in the statements of copyright , giving credit to contributors of pictures.

The links given as sources or credits will not work directly. They lead to the above mentioned Reference section, where the entries are linked directly to the internet. It is much easier to check these lists for broken links than browsing through all my pages.


With the exception of any thumbnails I shall not compress pictures specially to keep download-time low. I would like to present them as sharp as possible to show the beauty of the aircraft or the setting. For this reason I shall abandon animations to keep loading time low.


At the time of writing this I still have no idea how much storage my site will consume and if it will be necessary to look for sponsors for webspace.
