Introduction
Regard this site as my ever growing database which I decided to place into the internet. It is fed by information I came across about individual aircraft types. Going public helps me to keep more discipline archiving my own photographs and rescuing from oblivion the sources where I found interesting data. And I hope the information I present here will be of interest to others, too.
It is a personal site, subjective in its choice of aircraft and depth of coverage of individual types .
For a complete listing of aircraft types I refer to the anual Janes All the World Aircraft , the publications of William Green , the Putnam series of monographs about aircraft manufactures , the Encycopedia of World Aircraft etc.
I´d like to point out that the contents of this site will increase and change constantly.
The pages of this website will not have a consistent format for some time as I have taken over most of them directly from
my old, now
defunct website

alphabetical listing of aircraft types with links to subpages where an individual type of aircraft will be treated
.In these subpages you will find

Photographs of aircraft contributed by others or taken by myself.
References to book, magazines, and websites dealing with that type of aircraft.
Quotes from these sources regarding historical , technical or handling data.
In the
Notes
section
there will be stored type related data or pictures just as I write it down. These
data will be brought to a more pleasant format at a later date.The
type will then be
tranferred to the list
in Selection of
aircraft.
The
References
are split in sections
for books, magazines and
links to websites.
There is no dedicated
general links page. I
only list links which
are sources for my
articles and referred to
in the text.
Updates
is
self explaining.
Independently

types I add a section about

which are the essence of
collecting types.
