| A Nostalgic Look at my Children Books
My
first books I remember dealing with aviation
and ships
naturally were children´s books
- in form of fiction and in form of several
series of yearbooks dealing with a variety
of scientific, technical, and geographical themes.
I first
visited school and learned to read in 1955
so this class of books mostly belong to the
late 50s .
Not a book
proper, but
the 1959 REVELL plastic kit catalog
was my first "type reference book" shaping me to become a fanatic aircraft type collector.
